Canada Fulfillment Complete & Delays in EU Hub

Hello Dear Backers
We are sincerely appreciative of your understanding and help. We are pleased to share that all shipments to Canada have been delivered, missing playmats were sent out, and most VFI hubs except for Brazil have received the games and are in the process of sending them out. The majority of you should have received your games already, but if any problems arise, please contact us without hesitation.
Just a reminder that if you have any items from your reward missing or require replacement parts, please send an email to <[email protected]> with a brief description of the missing or damaged items. We will respond to your email as soon as we can to help you resolve the issue.
More Europe Hub Delays
Unfortunately, we have been having some complications with our EU Hub. We've had no luck getting in touch with them for the past month, and the status of replacement components and missing items are unknown. Feedback from backers suggests that this issue remains unresolved, and we apologize for this unfortunate situation and for our inability to get in touch with them right now. (Apparently, other publishers are also facing similar difficulties with them.)
To address this issue, we have two possible solutions. Option one is for me to send the replacements directly from Taiwan, but there is a substantial chance of incurring VAT charges, even for small packets of bits and pieces.
Thankfully, we have option two. I spoke with our UK Hub partner who said their deliveries to Europe can use the IOSS system, where the sender pays the VAT instead of the recipient, so no extra costs would be incurred by backers. Thus, we plan on sending them from the UK hub, although they will need to be processed after UKGE. In the unlikely event you are charged any VAT costs, let us know and we will reimburse you.
UKGE Booth 1-1034
We will be having a booth at the UK Games Expo 2023 in Hall 1-1034, and I can't wait to personally meet everyone there. I will have a limited quantity of Jiangnan available for purchase. If you require any replacements, we will also have some spare components with us for exchanges.
New Kickstarter Soon
On a positive note, we have an exciting announcement to share with you. Our new board game project will be launching on Kickstarter next month and the campaign page is nearly ready. We'd be delighted if you could check it out and perhaps give us some comments & suggestions.
The 2 Etariya games are a set of lightweight but engaging titles that will kick off our original world-building process. Later this year we plan to have another campaign for a medium-weight Euro game similar in scope to Mini Express, that promises to rival even our most exciting titles!

We have another fulfillment status update today. First, we've been notified by Pick & Pack Logistics that they will start working on Jiangnan next week, and should send them all out by the end of April.

Playmats En Route
We apologize again for the delay on the missing playmats in the US. However, we are delighted to inform you that production is now complete, and they are currently en route to Gamerati. We'll make sure to keep you posted on their arrival and subsequent shipping.
We've been notified that Jiangnan is on the way to Australia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore. More details may be found under the "Jiangnan" listing of the VFI hub status page. More details will be updated when the games are confirmed en route. Additional information will be available once the games have been shipped out from VFI.
Lastly, we understand that there have been some delays in addressing missing components for our European backers. We express our sincerest apologies and assure you we are working hard on a resolution. We trust that everything will be taken care of by next week, and we sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding.

This is an update on the status of fulfillment. We have good news to share, as over 90% of the rewards have already been shipped out! There are only a small number of USA, Canada, and our VFI-Asia backers who have yet to receive their rewards.

VFI-Asia
VFI-Asia says they have finished the pick and pack process, and the parcels will be shipped out with the next batch to each of their service regions. Once on the way, backers can expect to see the status updated on the VFI hub status page.
Canada Backlog
Unfortunately, the Canadian fulfillment partner of Gamerati, Pick & Pack Logistics, is currently experiencing a backlog due to high capacity. This has caused delays in at least four Kickstarter projects at Gamerati. They believe they will be able to start working on Jiangnan by mid-April.
Playmat Shortage
Additionally, we have identified a shortage of playmats at Gamerati, which has affected 13 US orders and put their parcels on hold. The investigation is still ongoing, but we are still unsure of the cause. To avoid further delays, I placed an order for more playmats 2 weeks ago, but it will take an additional 4-6 weeks before they are produced and delivered to Gamerati.
We apologize for any inconvenience these delays may have caused, and we appreciate your continued patience and support as we work to resolve these issues. We remain committed to getting your rewards to you as soon as we can and will continue to keep you updated.

Backer Fulfillment Begins

Hello Dear Backers
We have a mix of good news and bad news to share today. The good news is that some of our backers in the UK have already gotten their games! Additionally, the USA and EU warehouses are hard at work packing your rewards and they will be sent out soon.
Unfortunately, the UK hub just notified me they were actually missing a parcel from me. Consequently, they won't be able to send out some of the orders that include the wooden inserts and/or our earlier titles. Fortunately, any pledges that only contain the Jiangnan board games remain unaffected. We are still looking into the cause of this situation, but I will immediately send another box to Firestorm Cards so that they can fulfill the remaining orders.
VFI-Asia also reported that some of my parcelstothem arestill awaiting customs clearance, which should be resolved soon. They can start sending your games out as soon as they receive them.
